An eastbound D&H freight dissapears into the tunnel at the
top of Belden Hill on it's way from Binghamton to Oneonta.

EL's premiere train the Phoebe Snow is shown south of Binghamton
and just departing Binghamton on it's way to Scranton, PA. In the
left hand photo taken in 1966 the train has no head end traffic
but a year or so later as shown in the right hand photo the
"Phoebe" has acuired head end mail due to the
discontinuance of the EL's dedicated mail trains.

An Erie Lackawanna westbound freight with two F3As and two F7Bs
drifts down grade on the old Erie main line just above Starucca
Viaduct in Lanesboro, Pennsylvania.

A southbound D&H freight led by three Alco C628s climbs it's
way toward Ararat Summit on the Penn Division line to Wilks
Barre, PA.
